'TIERRA' (Ground)

'TIERRA' feels grounded, vibrant, and quietly powerful. The flowers rise from the lower edge of the frame as if growing upward, creating a natural sense of movement and expansion.

The choice of carnations is intentional. They are the national flower of Spain, where the artist behind By ESSY comes from. Through them, TIERRA carries a subtle connection to home, warmth, light, and Mediterranean roots brought into a contemporary setting.

This one of a kind masterpiece is created using real preserved flowers, each one placed by hand to form a composition that feels alive yet balanced. Soft greens lead the piece, with gentle touches of blush and textured botanical elements adding contrast and depth.

As light changes during the day, the flowers cast soft shadows that enhance the three dimensional effect. The result is a sculptural floral artwork that brings calm strength and natural presence into a space.
